EUP Testing For Transport & Haulage in Cumbria, North West and Borders

The AVM2-PC for the most advanced electronic unit injectors and pumps

Because the AVM2-PC test bench runs its systems via a built in Windows PC, it saves a lot of time. We can test pumps and injectors in about half the time of other solutions.

For us and then, your, workshop waiting to get injectors back quickly; the ease of use of the AVM2-PC is the key advantage. We can test more of your diesel injectors and pumps in a day using this rig.

We could test all makes of fuel injection equipment on this rig, but we have decided to set ours up to test Delphi manufactured injectors most easily. Many of the workshops we know, use Hartridge's standard Magmah software. Our set up has Delphi's official IRIS software for the most reliable test results for their manufactured components and genuine OEM standard coding.

We have now got you covered with the testing technology needed for future developments. Our equipment is compliant with ISO4008, EEC & UL/CSA standards.

And if your fleet runs on common rail pump units or injectors, we've got you covered there as well.

Once testing is complete, we provide a printed record of your pump or injector performance.

How We Test Electronic Unit Systems

Extract Engineering's fuel injector flow testing process is very comprehensive. Prior to a full injector test on one of our test benches, we initially test solenoid injectors with the Delphi YDT720 electrical test machines. These tests ensure that the injectors insulation, inductance and resistance are within specified limits.

Hartridge AVM2-PC: Future Proof Testing

The Hartridge AVM2-PC test machine incorporates features which have been designed to future proof testing in an ever-changing market. It allows us to test existing and emerging electronic unit and Smart technologies at the highest possible pressures and across the maximum number of available parameters.

We can now test the following types of injectors:

This latest investment by Extract Engineering brings the most advanced, and up to date diesel injection test rig to Carlisle. We can test all the most advanced Smart, and EUI diesel injectors as well as the most powerful EUP pumps. Extract Engineering has been approved by Delphi to test all electronic unit components that they make from E3.0 to E3.25 EUI.

Manufacturers using these Delphi units include: Volvo, Renault, Hyundai, Mercedes and DAF.

How it works:

Once we've completed the injector or pump tests, we provide a very comprehensive test report. This includes results from multiple injection events including fuel delivery, NCV, SCV, peak pressure and new coding if required.

We are more than happy to discuss these results with you in detail. We offer you the most cost-effective solution to your issues, whether that is reconditioning your existing injectors or supplying new injectors.

By testing your injectors and ensuring they are within specification your fuel efficiency, emissions and running costs will be improved on your diesel vehicle.
