COMMON RAIL, HIGH PRESSURE DIESEL PUMP TESTING CUMBRIA

At Extract Engineering we can test all makes of common rail diesel fuel pumps found in the fuel injection systems of the region’s lorries, vans and cars. All our common rail pump testing is carried out using the very latest Hartridge Sabre and Corona diesel testing equipment.

High Pressure Diesel Pump Testing In The North West

We know how to test a diesel injection pump thoroughly. After more than 10 years serving operators across the North West and Borders, we have met every kind of common rail device out there. Common rail diesel pump testing holds very few surprises for us now.

It is now possible to run the diesel pumps at up to 2000 bar constant pressure to check the integrity of the pump very thoroughly indeed. We check for leakage and fuel delivery according to each manufacturer’s predetermined plans. Next, we check the transfer pressure. If your common rail diesel pump passes these checks, we will then check the Metering Valve for correct operation. Our test benches will check absorption and voltage to pressure/volume on the high-pressure pump supply as per the Corona test plan data.

HIGH PRESSURE DIESEL FUEL PUMP RECONDITIONING SERVICE

We also offer an in-house high-pressure fuel pump reconditioning service at our premises in Carlisle. Our professional service ensures that your common rail pump will operate efficiently. With the high diesel pressures that are involved in the common rail system a well-maintained pump is a critical component.

Faulty fuel pumps from all over the North West and Southern Scotland are stripped, ultrasonically cleaned and then refurbished using genuine manufacturer’s parts wherever available. This service comes with a one-year guarantee as standard, subject to terms and conditions.
